Currently the American idioms dictionaty is available — more than 8000 idioms online to search and get used to, each is accompanied by examples (please see the links below to access the idioms).
While you read an idiom in the content area of the page, the server will also provide you with a list of relevant (as it thinks :-) ) items on the right hand side of the page.
Also, there is a section where you can suggest an expression to be explained or discussed on this site (see {"More expressions"} under {"Idioms"}). If you know a better explanation for an idiom, or good example of use, please post it under the idiom using the comments link.
Under the {"Extra"} item we will be publishing the external links related to English language. Feel free to submit the resources you consider useful for others.
